i know it’s been a while since i’ve posted last, but so much has happened in the past few weeks that i couldn’t find any time to get behind the computer and post. also i wanted to wait for something good. really good. that good thing has come. we got our wedding photos back! i love every single one of them. our photographers did such a fantastic job capturing our day, i couldn’t be more pleased. now there’s no way i’ll be able to post them all, but here is a glimpse into our special day. i will be breaking up the photos into a mini series of blog posts because there are so many i’d like to share…
part one: getting ready
thank you marc and shayna amenson of amenson studios for all the wonderful photos.
^^^our cake was from manderfields, a bakery in appleton. we chose a different flavor for each tier; red velvet, almond, and raspberry (the almond was my favorite!). our cake topper was borrowed from my parents, it was the cake topper from their wedding day.
^^^jen from fleur couture did our flowers, how beautiful are they!?
^^^a good friend of ours, kelly, created this masterpiece for us. her talent amazes me (she also put together our slideshow).
^^^my ring, there are no words…
^^^the ladies of my wedding party, they are absolutely gorgeous and i’m so happy each of them was able to take part in our wedding. our niece, briauna, although she can’t yet walk, talk or stand on her own, insisted on standing up with the rest of the girls.
^^^ceremony and reception venue, the waters.
^^^he can’t actually see me, we did not want to meet prior to the ceremony.
^^^the ceremony took place inside in front of the fireplace. we decorated the mantle with flameless candles, pearls, and a cross that my husband and father built for me.
^^^kyle and i exchanged letters before the ceremony
^^^i finally got some emotion out of him! 😉
