this weekend was my bachelorette party! another thing crossed off of my list, meaning the wedding is fast approaching. under 5 weeks away! i know we had a quick engagement (and i wouldn’t have done it any other way), but i still can’t believe how fast time flew by. in a little over a month my name will change. i will no longer be a girlfriend or a fiancé, but a wife. i am beyond excited for this next chapter of my life and ready to start my role as “wife”.
on to the party…it was such a wonderful day spent with close friends and family. my day started with a much needed pedicure with my sister, megan, and maid of honor, sarah. i chose a beautiful bright red that matched both of my nights outfits (yes, i had a costume change). pedicures were followed by a quick lunch and then a glam session with one of my bridesmaids and very best friends, katelund. kate did my hair and makeup (i even wore fake eyelashes for the first time ever). i felt so beautiful when she was done with me.
the evenings festivities started with a wine tasting at red and white in appleton. nate, our host for the evening, did a wonderful job. i highly recommend checking out this wine bar if you’re in the area. dinner followed at the stone cellar brewpub. the food and service were great, especially the pumpkin beer; perfect to bring in the fall season. the rest of the evening consisted of typical bachelorette festivities, some cocktails, nineties music, and dancing. it was the perfect way to spend my last night out as a “single” woman. thank you to all who were able to make it!
